MGC D&A Footwear London Forum 2018

MGC is organising another exclusive D&A Footwear Forum in London, which consist of B2B meetings between Footwear and Footwear accessories Designers/Manufacturers and Footwear Agents looking to expand their portfolios. The Forum will take place in a Hall, where each of the Designers will have their own space and will be able to personally introduce their collections to those Agents who have indicated their interest to the Consultancy in meeting the Designers and learning further about their collections.

Objective
To appoint Footwear Agents to represent the participant brands in the United Kingdom and/or Ireland.

Designers/ Manufacturers of Footwear and Footwear Accessories, Footwear Agents.

Sunday 3rd June 2018 (set up).
Monday 4th June 2018 (Day in which the forum will take place).

Deadline for registration:
Friday 30th March 2018.
Description, methodology and schedule

March 2018
  • Opening of registration and application forms to be submitted.
  • Reception of application forms (and corresponding imagery).
  • Publication and circulation of Designers Company profiles.
  • Showroom & catering hire confirmation. (Location TBC).
First of April - mid May 2018
  • Introduction of Designers and their brands to Footwear Agents.
  • Follow-up of the documentation sent; analysis of the preliminary reaction from the Agents, and confirmation of the Designers they would like to meet.
  • Distribution of press releases and imagery to the media, in order to promote the participant brands in the UK and/or Ireland.
  • Publication of promotional posters for each of the brands.
  • Organization of Business Agendas: B2B meetings between D&A.
  • Follow-up reports to Designers.
  • Follow-up of Footwear Agents contacted pending response.
  • Re-confirmation of meetings.
  • Registration closure (6th April 2017)
Sunday 3th June 2018
From 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Designers’ arrival at MGC D&A Footwear London Forum Showroom.
  • Allocation of Designers’s spaces (FCFS) and merchandising of samples.
  • Display of corporate posters and corresponding promotional material.
  • Presentation of Final Business Agendas to the participants.
From 8:00 p.m.
Welcome dinner for all participating Designers.
Monday 4th June 2018
9:00 a.m.
  • Opening of MGC D&A Childrenswear London Forum 2018.
  • Reception of D&A.& Accreditations.
From 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • B2B Meetings between D&A
  • Trade magazine & trade show representatives attendance.
  • Catering served throughout the day.
From 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Closure of MGC D&A Childrenswear London Forum 2018.
  • Designer’s samples to be collected.
  • Departure of D&A.
Documentation to be provided to the Designers
  • Footwear Agents Business Profiles.
  • Business Agendas with corresponding B2B meetings.
  • Final reports, with feedback from Footwear Agents and follow-up.
The cost includes:
  • Organization and coordination of B2B meetings for each Designer.
  • A Business Agenda.
  • Two day shared showroom hire & catering service.
  • Material: 1 table and 2 chairs per Designer.
  • Corporate poster for each of the Designers.
  • Consultancy staff coordinating the Forum.
  • Re-confirmation of meetings and/or potential reschedules.
  • Welcome dinner for all the Designers.
  • Follow-up of Footwear Agents and final reports.
The cost excludes:
  • Interpreting services. (Quotes available prior to the Forum).
  • Extra exhibition material that Designers may need for the exhibition of their collections.
  • Travel expenses, lodging and meals (except for the Welcome Dinner) of the
  • Designers during their visit to the UK.
  • Customized Website, translation into English & maintenance (Quotes available).
Payment Terms
70% upon registration and the remaining 30% should be paid 15 days before the forum so by 15th May 2018.
Payment by bank transfer.

Refunds
The Consultancy will refund to the Designer/Manufacturer any payment made up until Friday 30th March 2018, less 30% administration fees, should the Designer/Manufacturer not be able to attend the Forum.
Unfortunately, any cancellations made from 7th April will not be refundable.
In the event of the Forum needed to be cancelled or postponed due to force majeure or causes outside of the control of the Consultancy, there will be no refunds.
